Color Consultant.

Color is the silent architecture of a home. We develop palettes tuned to your light, your fixed materials, and your life — so the choices hold up across decades, not just seasons.

The Service

Palettes that belong to your house.

Choosing a palette for your home is a commitment, and finding colors you genuinely love and can live with is a journey. With a degree in Fine Art, I bring a deep understanding of how natural light shapes a room, how color builds mood and atmosphere, and how the rhythm of your floor plan contributes to a quiet sense of emotional security. I've guided many homeowners through this process, and the goal is always the same — a coordinated field of hues that makes a house feel like home.

Arizona light is its own consideration. A color that sings in a Portland living room can feel chalky at noon and bruised at sunset here. Our process begins with a site visit at multiple times of day, studying how your windows, fixed materials, and adjacent rooms all push and pull against every swatch — never a single accent wall, but a deliberate field of color for trim, cabinetry, walls, ceilings, and secondary surfaces.

What the engagement includes

A two-hour on-site consultation, a tailored palette for every room you've engaged us on, paint and finish specification (sheen, application, product notes), and a sample-to-commit workflow that puts large-format drawdowns on your walls before a single gallon is ordered.

When to bring us in

Before repainting a whole-home refresh. Before committing to cabinetry finishes. After a renovation, when the fixed materials are locked but the envelope still feels unresolved. And whenever a past paint choice has stopped feeling right — we can usually diagnose why in the first hour.

Investment

$250 for homes up to 2,000 sq. ft. — guarantee and large-format paint samples included. Each additional 1,000 sq. ft. is $100. Available throughout Scottsdale and the surrounding Phoenix area.
