Listen First
Every project starts with a conversation — rarely about furniture, often about how you live, what you love, and what quietly wears on you.
I'm Donda — principal designer and sole signature behind every project. What follows is how I work, what I believe, and why homeowners across Arizona trust me with their most personal spaces.
Start a ConversationThe Story
I started this studio in 2001 with a belief I've never been able to shake: that a home should be a silent sanctuary for the soul, a reflection of the narrative only you can tell. In the years since, I've refined how I translate that narrative — the questionnaires, the moodboards, the slow circle back to the first instinct — but the belief has only deepened.
My work begins where most interior work ends: with the question of how you actually live. Not how rooms photograph, not how magazines stage, but how you move through Sunday morning, where you drop your keys, where the light falls at five.
"The best rooms reveal themselves slowly. So does the best design process."
Over two decades, I've worked on everything from single-room refreshes to eighteen-month full renovations. Each one begins with the same discovery conversation and ends with the same quiet handoff — a key, a binder, and a home that's ready to be lived in.
Approach
Every project starts with a conversation — rarely about furniture, often about how you live, what you love, and what quietly wears on you.
Decisions compound. We move deliberately, testing materials in your light, pacing reveals so you can feel the home taking shape.
We manage trades, sequencing, and punch lists. You come home one evening to a space that's done — every cushion, every shade.
